Responsibilities

• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
• Deliver caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and meet all registration, licensing, and certification requirements as per your state's Board of Pharmacy.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks over time without distraction.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical reasoning to solve problems such as calculating prescription supplies.
• Problem resolution skills to recognize and address issues efficiently.

Physical Demands:

• Standing for extended periods.
• Moving about to complete tasks.
• Typing, picking, or working primarily with fingers.
• Reaching, bending, and stooping.
• Lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Visual acuity to transcribe, read, and inspect small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $16.00 - $27.00/hour
Actual pay will depend on factors such as experience, education, and location.
